Facebook For iPhone

August 8th, 2008 Posted in New Facebook Applications

Joe Hewitt, a Facebook engineer, recently released a blog post about a new Facebook application known as “Facebook For iPhone” which has been featured in Apple App Store.

With this native application built for iPhone, iPhone users can now for example, take photos using the phone’s camera and upload them instantly to their Mobile Uploads album on Facebook. Apart from that, iPhone users can now find their friends online and chat directly from their iPhone for free using Facebook chat.

The first version of Facebook For iPhone is a glimpse of the future. One exciting feature is the ability to find where you are located and ways for you to opt-in and share your location and discover nearby friends.

That’s awesome. I saw the commercial for it about 3 days ago. Another new app is called One Minute Mogul.

I see my friends on their iPhones on Facebook all the time. It’s really cool because you can keep track of your status on Apps. If I had an iPhone, I’d be on the One Minute Mogul App all the time. Their two games are addicting.
