Another great tip to customise a catchy Facebook profile for yourself is to display what readers have to say about you in your profile page. Sounds funny right? But majority of profile readers love to know what’s others’ opinions on you before they make friends with you or if they love to know more about you.
Just like Friendster, now you can let your friends write comments or testimonials for you in Facebook profile too (except that they don’t allow you to delete your testimonial easily). Simply add this Facebook application called “Testimonial” developed by Chainn.

Remember, the more Facebook Events you created, the more impressive you can customise your Facebook profile to show your friends. You are indirectly telling your friends that you are leading a colorful life being an event organiser.

Example, you wouldn’t want to find out that the restaurant you planned for dining had long closed down, yet after you sent out the invitation. This is another mistake people love to commit.
(3) Remember to plan your finance properly and be prepared. Once you have worked out the details and budget, check with one of your friends manually to see if he/she is comfortable. Once done, send out your invitation all your friends.
(4) Many people regard event organising as not a simple task. The more you do it well, the better people get impressed with you. That’s another way of impressing your friends too.
(5) Always organise an event in a BIG group. Say at least 30 or more. Sounds scary? Of course NOT. Look it at another way, that shows how popular you are, isn’t it? Partying is the best event to accommodate so many people. Friends love partying, including me :p

I started joining Facebook account only 2 months back and now I have 325 friends in my friends network. Well I do not consider myself popular among friends but I do have a “secret recipe” in customising my Facebook profile to get attention from people. Well indeed you can say I am a great attention seeker.
As you know, people love to browse Facebook profiles of their friends and friends’ friends. So if you follow my 6 great tips to customise your Facebook profile, it is not difficult to make your friends and friends’ friends to seek you like honey. You wouldn’t lead a life with an empty Facebook Inbox anymore.
Tip (1): Add Colors & Wallpapers To Your Facebook Profile
Recently I wrote an article on “Customise Facebook Profile And Adding Personality To Them“. Go ahead and add an interesting and colorful wallpaper to your Facebook profile so that it wouldn’t look too bored anymore.
Tip (2): Be Interesting, Add In All Your Interests and Activities
What’s the difference between your Facebook profile and others? Definitely your friends would love to see not just an ordinary profile. For me, I would add in all my interests and activities I love, into my Facebook profile. As interests are tagged in Facebook, your friends can easily discover what you enjoy doing. Also, they would tend to spend more time studying your profile too. Once a while, you may receive group invitations requesting you to join certain interest group as well.

Most people neglected the power of Wall Post in your Facebook profile. If you think you can’t do much with it, you are wrong. For me, I usually get a lot of attentions by posting nuisance, gossiping or attention-seeking posts eg. “I don’t believe in Love anymore, I think I would only be a single for the rest of my life!”. Such posts easily attract a lot of postings in your Wall. However, do not overdo it by posting sentences like “Girls are the most pampered animals in the Universe” as it could easily annoy your lady friends or others. Facebook profiles with more wall posts are generally more catchy than others.
Tip (5): Photos, Photos and More Photos.
Many people love to display only 1 or 2 personal photos or cartoons in their Facebook profile. This will not make your profile look interesting and catchy at all. What people love to see are your outing and activities’ shots, the most craziest photos while you are partying with your friends, photos of the best scenary you appreciate or the most unique places of interests if you happen to go on holidays.
Tip (6) Put Up The Best Photo For Your Facebook Profile

When is the last time you update your Facebook status? Last week? Last month? Or last year? For me, I will make it a point to do it everyday. You may wonder what’s there to update if your life is repeating the same everyday. Well I am sure your friends would be more interested to know “how” you are doing rather than “what” you are doing. A short and simple Facebook status like “George is leading a peaceful life and resting at home right now” would mean a lot to them.
Well, if you find you are repeating the same thing on your Facebook status everyday, why not consider writing more interesting quotes like “George is laughing at you while you are reading this message” or “George thinks Facebook status update is a damn stupid idea but for the sake of his friends, he don’t mind to do it every day”. 2. Send a text message to FBOOK (32665).
Also, you can also tell if someone updated his Facebook status from their mobile phone if you spot a small mobile phone icon next to their Facebook status.

It can be really frustrating at times when you try to access Facebook in schools, colleage or company yet discover that you have been blocked by their firewall. Due to the vast expansion and use of Facebook by it’s users everyday, web developers find the need to unblock Facebook with Facebook Proxy.
If you do a google search for “Facebook Proxy”, you should be able to discover a lot of Facebook Proxies sites currently available out there. To protect your identity and allow you to access Facebook without being detected, a good reliable Facebook Proxy allows you to browse Facebook anonymously. To look for one, you need to take note of following points.
(1) It should be FREE. No credit card or confidential information should be required to use their service.
(2) It should not have annoying pop up advertisements.
(3) It should be secure and safe to protect your Facebook login information.
(4) It must be fast and should not take years for a page to load.
(5) It should be private and anonymous.
How to check if you are accessing Facebook anonymously:
Step 1: Go to http://www.findproxy.org/ and copy down your IP address and Host Name.
Step 2: Visit your Facebook Proxy and enter http://www.findproxy.org/ into the address bar.
Step 3: From your Facebook Proxy window, check the exposed IP against your IP address copied from Step (1), they should be different. On top of this, the Hostname should not be revealed.
Of course there could be other methods, however, this is one that I normally use.
To protect yourself further, please also remember not to make payment in Facebook Proxy window. Your payment details could be captured or keylogged by them illegally.

Customise Facebook Profile and Adding Personality To Them
Facebook should be the most popular social networking site after MySpace. With Facebook, you can get connected to your friends, family and colleagues easily, knowing about their latest happenings & what they are currently busying with, groups that they participated as well as events they have attended or going to attend. You can do so much more with Facebook (eg. Groups & Events, Wall Post, Applications & Games) and you will never feel bored on the net again.
With MySpace, you can customise your profile easily in all areas. However, to customise facebook profile, it seems rather limited. Right now it is possible with Facebook Expressions, a premium site that allows you to add sparks to your Facebook profile easily. In future posts, I will also share with you different tips and tricks to customise or tweak your Facebook profile to get popular in the shortest possible time.
Facebook Expressions is another great Facebook application that adds personality to your Facebook profile by displaying eye catching designs (Expressions) on your profile that express who you are, what you are feeling and things you like.
In this post, I explain to you how the entire process is gonna work to get this working. The steps are simple hence I don’t think you should face any problem after following them closely.
(1) Visit Facebook Expressions and browse the categories for the Expressions you like. Click “Add To Profile” button. You will be directed to Facebook to login.
(2) Once logged in, you will first come to a page to Login to the Facebook Expressions Application and then to a page where you install the application.
(3) Upon Application successfully installed, you shall be re-directed back to Facebook Expression site again to browse for the Expression you like in the categories. Once determined your desired wallpaper, click “Add To Profile” button again.
(4) Lastly, you will be taken to your Facebook profile for you to check out your newly added Expression (Wall Paper).
(5) That’s all. Be ready now to be envied by your friends with your new profile.
